Dear Shari,

As I prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday, I been reflecting on all the people that God places in our lives at just the right time.  You are one of those angels on earth.  When Diane died our family had been through so much stress and worry over sweet Josie.  One begins to ask, “how much more can we bear?” If we but listen to that “still small voice,” He is revealing his love for us in the people he sends our way.  Shari, you are one of those people.  Your kind words and sincere concern for all of my family was truly heaven sent. I treasure the pocket quilt you sent!  Josie is growing and getting stronger everyday.  I am grateful for the prayers of Colton’s Hope and pray that Colton is well. I hope you are well and enjoying this season of thankfulness.

Dear Shari,

Thank you so much for sending the beautiful perpetual enrollment for James – what a treasure in so many ways!

I love the mission of Colton’s Hope – the Holy Spirit is at work!

I would love to pay it forward so to speak and donate a perpetual enrollment for another sweet mother and child.

Also to put a family on Colton’s hope prayer list.

She and her husband have been so faithful and prayerful throughout this journey.  I would love to have you send them an enrollment for James – how can we make that happen – do I donate on the website?

Thank you for helping me – God Bless you!

Have you ever experienced a place that is truly magical? And I’m not talking Disney World! Our ‘Sisters in Christ’ have been praying together for 11 years and each year we are invited to pray and walk through a place like none other….

Shari Bauer has created a garden experience that will take your breath away. This is NOT just a garden, this is a little piece of Heaven in Spicewood, TX. All of your senses will be on overload but your soul, yes, your soul will be changed. There should be no rush on the tour or you may miss the hidden treasures that serve as homes for her plants such as a piano, a chest of drawers, a suitcase, high heels, a jeep with working lights, doors to move you from one room to another, a bathroom sink fountain, and literally a bed for her ‘bed of flowers!’ Shari’s spirituality and adoration for the Blessed Virgin is apparent by the phone booth with the reminder, CALL YOUR MOTHER!’ ‘But what is most beautiful is her passion to share her gifts with others.

Good afternoon, Shari,

I don’t believe we’ve had the honor of being introduced to each other. My name is James Robertson and I have been the chaplain here at MSSLC since December of 2021. Before that I was in the Incident Management department here for 3 years. I wanted to thank you for the resources you have sent. The “Gather” painting has become a focal point of the chapel and helped spark the revival of active chapel services following the challenges of the pandemic. The bible resources you just sent will serve many of the individuals. We are in constant need of bibles. I just wanted to thank you so much and introduce myself. I won’t take much of your time.

I will be praying for the “Colton’s Hope” ministry. I looked at the website. What a wonderful thing you are doing. Keep fighting the good fight. All my prayers.

 Grace and Peace,

 Chaplain James Robertson
